Dorim is a nonprofit math education program that teaches Algebra using a Korean-style curriculum. It runs in partnership with Bridge International Christian Academy (BICA) and is led by high school volunteers.
We teach Algebra I in different levels: SAT level, foundations, and middle school preparation course. We grew enrollment from 2 to 7 students and raised average final test scores by 20 points compared to pre-assessments results.
Now, we expand to More THan Welcome, a refugee support organization, with weekly in-person math tutoring.
